CONCEPT

FROM FUKUOKA TO THE WORLD.
AIMING FOR A FUTURE THAT IS KIND TO BOTH SKIN AND THE ENVIRONMENT.

OUR MISSION

Only the finest
plant-derived nourishment.

We believe in delivering only what truly nourishes the skin.

Instead of ordinary water, we use vetiver distilled water—rich in plant vitality—as our base. Our high-quality camellia oil is blended without emulsifiers, made possible by our patented nano-mixing technology. TSUBAKI NANO FLORAL is created using only natural ingredients, without chemical additives.

Our 100% natural formulation has been selected by The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka, as well as other premium partners, to offer their guests with the highest level of quality and experience.

We offer sincere skincare, where nature and technology exist in perfect harmony.

ALL NATURAL INGREDIENTS

True beauty begins with purity.

Every product is made using only 100% natural-origin ingredients, including vetiver root distilled water, cold-pressed oils, and carefully selected plant extracts rich in natural minerals.

Nothing unnecessary is added. We do not use synthetic ingredients, preservatives, or fillers—only what is essential to moisturize, protect, and support the skin’s natural balance.

100% NATURAL
Producer Profile:

Eri Katayama (Vetiver)

Born in Fukuoka, Japan.

With a background in practical plant-based therapy, she works with domestically grown vetiver, handling its distillation in Yame City—the only region in Japan where this is done.

Since 2013, she has managed the entire process from soil preparation to finished products, supplying medical institutions and manufacturers. She is also involved in developing local specialties in Yame and supporting cultural projects in Kyoto.

Producer profile:

Satoko Matsuo (Camellia Oil)

Born in Saga, Japan.

In 2010, she founded a design company. In 2015, she launched a regional initiative focused on “designing with the whole community,” working on the development of local signature products.

Through the creation of cosmetics and food products using camellia oil from Kakarajima Island, she supports the wider recognition of regional specialties. She also serves as a part-time instructor at a local high school.

WHY “TSUBAKI”?

Camellia oil has been valued in Japan for centuries as a natural moisturizer for hair and skin. Kakarajima, a small island in the Genkai Sea off the coast of Saga Prefecture, is known as an “island of camellias.” Wild camellia trees grow there without the use of pesticides or chemical treatments.

The camellia seeds are sun-dried and cold-pressed by hand, producing a pure, unrefined oil. Rich in oleic acid—similar to the skin’s natural sebum—it absorbs easily and provides lasting moisture.

Producer profile:

Taisei Matsuzaki (Beeswax)

Born in Fukuoka, Japan.

Founded on the idea of creating “essential oils created with the same care and traceability as fine food ingredients,” a distillery was opened in Tachibana, Yame City in 2016.

In 2023, beekeeping of Japanese honeybees began. In addition to multifloral honey — a gift from nature — beeswax used as a cosmetic base is also carefully filtered and produced, drop by drop.

Producer profile:

Eiko Okayama (Seed Grown Yuzu)

Born in Osaka, Japan.

She opened a salon in 2000, later establishing it as a company. In 2009, she encountered misho yuzu grown in her local area of Minoo City and began distilling essential oils using fruit that would otherwise be discarded.

She works with a university-born venture on joint research and product development focused on functionality, while also supporting efforts to revitalize the satoyama landscapes where misho yuzu grows naturally.

CLEAN NATURAL FRAGRANCE

The fragrances of TSUBAKI NANO FLORAL are composed exclusively from natural essential oils by perfumer Yuya Noguchi, who has deep knowledge of rare botanical ingredients.

Drawing on expertise in cultivation, distillation, and blending, he creates a balanced fragrance harmony for each product—cleansing oil, skin cream, body cream, and bath salts.

Only carefully selected, high-quality natural aromatics from around the world are used. The result is a refined, gentle fragrance that brings a sense of calm and quiet pleasure to everyday care—natural, comforting, and unforced.

Producer profile:

Yuya Noguchi (Perfumer)

Born in Tokyo, Japan.

In 2020, he founded the natural fragrance brand Tiphereth. He researches rare plants from around the world and oversees the entire process, from cultivation to fragrance creation.

He is currently involved in the development of amenities and cosmetic products for luxury hotels, and also leads fragrance workshops and qigong breathing classes in various locations.

Producer profile:

Yoshinobu Yamabe (Neroli)

Born in Nagasaki, Japan.

He grows pesticide-free citrus in both Nagasaki and Kyoto, working under the name YAMABE KAJUEN to support farmland restoration. He hand-harvests the blossoms of traditional daidai citrus to extract neroli.

To share these fragrances more widely, he established NEROLY in Kyoto. Through this work, he continues efforts to carry the gifts of the land into the future.

Nano-Mixing

At the core of TSUBAKI NANO FLORAL is our patented nano-mixing technology. This process allows vetiver distilled water and camellia oil, which would normally separate, to bind together at a nano level and remain stable even after leaving our factory.

Oils, water, and naturally derived minerals are unified into a single structure, allowing each ingredient to function as intended without the use of emulsifiers or chemical stabilizers.

This stable formulation supports smooth absorption while preserving the natural integrity of the plants. The technology does not alter nature, but refines it, allowing the benefits of each ingredient to reach the skin and hair gently and evenly.
